Gov. Paterson questions management of first-place Mets
Gov. David Paterson is not letting his abysmal approval ratings stop him from criticizing how other people manage things. This exchange occurred Friday morning on the WFAN-Radio show hosted by Boomer Esaison and Craig Carton:
Carton: “Bottom line is this gov — you’re a die-hard Mets fan. I am, and so is Boomer. Our team is in first place and who would have thunk that, considering all these injuries, right?”
Paterson: “Considering all these injuries, considering all the miscues, considering even some questionable management decisions from time to time. I think the Mets second baseman should be Orlando Hudson and I felt that way since last year. Considering all that it is a great thing to be a Mets fan...”
A Siena Research Institute poll released Tuesday showed Paterson's approval rating at 27 percent. A check of the Friday morning standings shows the Mets in first place in the National League East.

I'm not sure it's possible
I'm not sure it's possible to be any less self-aware than Paterson is.
